BG PLASTIC SURGERY started in 1989 with the partnership of the plastic surgeons Benedito Vieira and George Soares. A dream that became reality after a lot of work, dedication, professionalism and the vocation and love for the specialty that gave us the strength to overcome all the obstacles to achieve it.

· Graduated from the Medical School of the Federal University of Maranhão - Health Sciences Center, having concluded his formation in 1983. From 1984 to 1986, he underwent his residency in General Surgery at the Post-Graduate Specialization Center of Health Teams - INAMPS/Ministry of Education and Culture and Ministry of Health and at the President Dutra Hospital - Maranhão. From 1987 to 1989, he specialized in plastic surgery at the Amadeu Fialho Center of Studies and Education/Ministry of Education, most precisely at the National Cancer Institute in Rio de Janeiro.

· Titular Member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (main office in São Paulo - SP).




Titles/Specialization:


· Specialization in the area of Plastic Surgery, conferred by the Education and Culture Ministry and registered at the Regional Council of Medicine of Rio de Janeiro and at the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery - São Paulo/SP.

· Specialization in General Surgery by the Federal Council of Medicine and by the Ministry of Education.



George Luís Pereira Soares, M.D. (CRM 52-42103-3 RJ)

· Graduated from the Medical School of the Souza Marques Technical-Educational Foundation of Medicine - Rio de Janeiro, having concluded his course in 1983. From 1984 to 1986, he underwent his residency in General Surgery in the CEAPS/INAMPS, at the Andaraí Hospital - Rio de Janeiro. In this same institution he underwent his first residency in Plastic Surgery

· Post-Graduated in Plastic Surgery by the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, PUC-Rio, from 1987 to 1989.

· Senior Assistant Surgeon and Chief of the Surgical Center of the Ivo Pitanguy Clinic from 1989 to 2001.

· Titular Member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery.



Titles/Specialization:


· Specialization in the area of Plastic Surgery conferred by the Federal Council of Medicine, Ministry of Education and the Brazilian Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.

· Specialization in General Surgery conferred by the Federal Council of Medicine and the Ministry of Education.
